The rotating spiral chute is made by rotating the trough body on the basis of the fixed spiral chute. It is driven by the upper transmission mechanism to slowly rotate along the direction of the slurry flow. The upper surface and the spiral diameter promote faster ore separation, and the sorting effect is better than that of the general fixed spiral chute, with a high enrichment ratio, an effective sorting particle size range of 0.6-0.05 mm, and a particle size recovery rate higher than that of the spiral chute. When the slurry flows into the rotating spiral trough surface, it is not only affected by gravity and centrifugal force, but the dynamic adjustment brought by the rotation can make the slurry distribution more uniform and the mineral stratification clearer. The operator can adjust the rotation angle and speed in real time according to the characteristics of the ore type and the concentration of the slurry, and optimize the sorting parameters in a targeted manner, so that the enrichment accuracy of high-density useful minerals (such as ilmenite, zircon sand, etc.) is increased by 10%-15%, and the sorting error is controlled within 5%.

The rotation function accelerates the flow and mixing of the slurry in the trough, making the contact between the mineral particles and the trough surface more sufficient, and reducing the loss of fine-grained minerals due to untimely sedimentation.
